About my work

My work naturally splits into two categories: projects where I serve as the cinematographer, and projects that originate through my YouTube channel.

As a cinematographer, I mostly focus on documentaries, TV shows, and commercial work. I’m naturally curious, so I’m always open to new subjects. If a project sparks my passion or curiosity, I give it my full dedication.

Outside of filmmaking, the outdoors is my biggest love. It blends perfectly with my passion for creating images—especially in extreme conditions. Drop me on a sailboat for a month or send me hiking for days with just my gear and a tent, and I’m happy. I believe that capturing the essence of life often happens when you’re on the edge of your comfort zone, and for me, that journey starts out in the wild.

The start

growing up, you’d always find me behind the camera, filming my friends tearing up the skatepark. while they were dialing in their kickflips down stair sets, I was figuring out how to frame the perfect shot. that’s where it all started—learning how to find unique angles and make every trick look even better on screen.

fast forward to now, and while I don’t film skateboarding as much, the skills I picked up back then still shape how I shoot today. filmmaking, especially documentaries, is where my passion really is. there’s nothing like piecing together a story, blending visuals and narrative to create something that pulls people in.

because of my background in extreme sports, I’m always up for a challenge—whether that’s scaling a peak, braving freezing waters, or whatever it takes to get the shot.

I’ve been lucky to work with some incredible clients over the years, and I’m beyond grateful for the trust they’ve put in me to bring their stories to life.

Haarlem Studios

In late 2022, Frank and I stumbled upon an amazing spot with a huge automatic garage door and an entire upper level.

Renting it without a clear plan, we quickly transformed it into a studio for our filmmaking gear and projects. What began as a simple idea grew into our own beautiful studio space, ideal for various projects and events.
